6:00 AM – Rise, Plan & Create Content
The day at Blue Bonnet Studios starts early. Before the machines buzz to life, there’s coffee to brew and a plan to make. This is also our most productive time for content creation. We brainstorm, write, and publish new blog posts, update our website content, and craft social media captions, images, and marketing materials for the day. Ensuring that our website and social channels have fresh, engaging content is key to connecting with our customers and keeping them inspired.
Morning To-Do List:
✅ Review incoming orders and personalization requests.
✅ Create new blog content, product descriptions, and website updates.
✅ Update SEO metadata and social share descriptions for new products and blog posts.
✅ Write captions and design images for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok posts.
This is also the time we check customer messages, respond to inquiries, and finalize our daily goals.
7:00 AM – Production Kicks Into Gear
Once the plan is set, it’s time to fire up the laser engravers and get to work. The hum of the laser cutting wood, cork, and leather is like music to our ears. This process requires precision and patience to ensure every cut is clean, and every design looks just right.

Fun Fact: It takes about 10-20 minutes to cut and engrave a single ornament, depending on the level of detail.
9:00 AM – Assembly, Painting & Quality Checks
Once the laser cutting is complete, the next step is assembly and painting. This is where the magic happens. Each product is hand-assembled, sanded, and painted with love and attention to detail. Personalized names, monograms, and hand-painted accents are carefully added. This is also where we check for quality, ensuring each piece is flawless before moving on.

After a busy morning, it’s time to refuel and recharge. This is also a chance to check in on social media, post updates, and share behind-the-scenes moments with our customers. You’ll often see sneak peeks of new products, “work-in-progress” shots, and announcements for upcoming events and promotions.
Social Media To-Do:
📸 Snap photos of new products or process shots.
💬 Respond to customer questions and comments on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
📣 Schedule posts to promote upcoming events, giveaways, and holiday sales.
1:00 PM – Order Packing & Shipping Prep
After lunch, it’s time to focus on order fulfillment. We check which orders are ready to ship and begin the packing process. Each item is carefully wrapped to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Fragile ornaments and personalized signs get extra care with padding and protection to avoid damage during transit.
What goes into our packing process:
📦 Product Check: Ensure names, colors, and designs match customer requests.
📦 Protective Wrapping: Add padding, bubble wrap, and tissue paper.
📦 Final Touches: Include a thank-you card and instructions (if needed).
Orders are then labeled, weighed, and prepared for pick-up from our local shipping carrier.
2:30 PM – Event Prep & Inventory Check
When an event or market is approaching, it’s all hands on deck to prepare inventory and display materials. Custom hats, key hangers, ornaments, and signs are sorted, tagged, and packed for transport. This is also when we double-check that we have everything we need for the booth setup, from product stands to signage and payment processing tools.

5:00 PM – Clean Up & Close Shop
By the end of the day, it’s time to clean and reset the workspace. We clean paint brushes, wipe down laser equipment, and organize all materials to be ready for the next day. It’s also a chance to reflect on the day’s accomplishments and check off everything on the to-do list.
End-of-Day Tasks:
✅ Clean and sanitize workspaces.
✅ Organize materials and prep for tomorrow’s orders.
✅ Review pending orders and event schedules.
